Franco American Where Are You?

Truly Uh Oh, Spaghetti O’s. There’s been a recall of an American Classic for undercooked meatballs?! I don’t remember meat as a large component of Campbell's canned noodles of any shape.

Actually I can’t remember eating Spaghetti O’s specifically but, I’m certain they have the same sauce as a favorite of mine from my teenage years, Oh what was the name…Franco American Spaghetti. And, my husband piped up, "The Ravioli". Yes, I remembered that too. In my memory, they all had the same sauce, am I wrong? Guess in the 60’s they hadn’t perfected turning noodles into O’s.

Investigating my ol’ fav, Franco American Spaghetti I found another Uh Oh. Campbell's retired the Franco American brand name in 2004.

Well, there's proof in this blog that I like healthy food but I also feel nostalgic for American Classics.

About Me

I've started sharing thoughts, perspectives and creativity periodically with a group of people I care about. My idea was to use talents I have to help people cope better through these trying times. My life has been as a therapist and writer. My husband and I taught a form of mental training for years called NeuroTherapy Training. Bottom Line it's a method of training our brains to help the body and better manage the physiology of negative emotions. We worked free with people facing AIDS and cancer for years so I know a lot about what happens when people facing life-threatening challenges.

My avocation has been writing. In fact I'm adding on to a blog I kept for a number of years. You will notice earlier posts in this blog offer food writing and commentary that I've done for my own enjoyment. (I even left the recipe search function.) I've written freelance articles for years, I wrote a textbook for training others in our method of therapy. I've been a feature writer and columnist for magazines, lectured at writer's conferences, had poetry in an anthology and, of most joy to me, I've volunteered to teach writing at senior centers for over 20 years. I hope my thoughts, perspectives, and other types of sharing are meaningful to you.
